Our Sassy Onesies site was on CNN yesterday morning! The reporters were talking about Tiger Woods’ new little baby girl and Jackie Schechner, their Internet reporter, said the following:
SCHECHNER: Ah, actually, I have to show you. I found this Web site called Baby Golf, which is all dedicated to things golf and little younguns. I also found this onesie on line that says, “I’m told I like golf.” I thought that was kind of fun, too. So, I bet she will start really, really early.
Apparently Jacki showed a snapshot of our website on-air while talking about the onesie. We were totally unaware of this occurrence and were suddenly receiving a flood of orders for the “I’m told I like golf” onesie. Woo hoo!!!! Obviously, we’re excited.

MomsRising.org sent out an email on June 13th alerting as many moms as possible about a recent recall. See below for more information:
Toxic lead in a popular line of children’s toys. It’s a scary thing. Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends toys are now the subject of a major recall by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using these toys. Here’s the link to their recall notice so you can find out exactly which toys are trouble:

*Pass this information along to friends with kids so they can make sure their kids don’t have these toys, or put them in their mouths! Sadly, more and more imported toys are being recalled due to toxics. So after you tell your friends about the Thomas recall, then please take action to stop this toxic trend by signing our petition (the link is below).
TELL CONGRESS & THE CPSC TO GET THE LEAD OUT: Sign the petition to let Congress and the CPSC know that, “Testing children’s products for toxic chemicals must be a priority. No more toxic toys and children’s products!”*Just click here to sign the petition for children’s safety now:

Receiving a gift with your child’s name on it or a funny nickname just makes you feel like someone went the extra step in getting something personal for you. Of course, a funny saying that strikes a cord can also do the trick! We carry Blume so you can personalize your gift without it being to “froo-froo”. Choose from a great selection of onesies and infant tees with personalized workman patches. These are a hit among celebrity mommies, too! Read this:
“Shiloh Jolie- Pitt, Sean P and Hazel and Phinn are featuring this personalized style. And Zahara, Maddox, and Rowen have “Big Sis” and “Big Bro” tees and thermals to match their new little siblings. Blume’s industrial chic line offers onesies, long sleeve tees, thermals, hats, bibs and burp cloths adorned with a different color name patches on pink, blue, and black so the little ones can be as cool as their celebrity mommies. First names, last names, initials, knicknames, Princess, Pumpkin, Precious, Player, Rocker, Little Bro, Big Bro, Little Sis, Big Sis- anything up to 10 characters can be sported on the authentic workmen’s patches and the girls name patches are embellished with a rhinestone for a touch of glam.”
And, since we enjoy good humor, we also carry Blume’s funny long-sleeved infant tees. Nothing says more about who’s really in charge than a baby where a “Supervisor” shirt! (“Quality Control” and “Security” make a nice statement, too.)

We love discovering new designers that no one else on the internet (or very few) are offering to their customers. We truly want to help you find unique gifts so you can be the hit at the baby shower. Take all the credit. We don’t care.
What’s cool about almost all of the new lines of funny and cute onesies and toddler tees we’ve recently added to our site is that they are coming from mompreneurs who are working hard to grow their businesses. We can certainly relate! We recently came across Janie in Texas with her Baby Cha-Cha line. We had been searching high and low to find Spanish saying onesies that met with the rest of the quality onesies on our site. At last! What’s even more fun is that we are the first business to be working with Janie and her fabulous designs. So far the top seller from her line seems to be “I drink until I pass out.” Apparently we have a lot of thirsty, sleepy babies out there! The Spanish sayings have also been a huge hit. It seems we weren’t the only ones looking for a good Spanish saying to display on a baby.
We also sell Janie’s hand-made flower beanie hats. These are so adorable and make a unique completion the ensembles. There are a variety of 12 different styles. Be sure to check them out!

Since mid-April we have added over 13 new lines of funny and cute onesies and toddler tees to our site. We love these designers! All but one is a mompreneur! And the dad we work with is so cool and has so many more sayings he can’t wait to add. We thought we would start highlighting our new designers one by one. We are going to start with our latest - honestbaby.com
Honestbaby was started by Jill Besnoy who’s parenting philosophy is something I know Cristina and I can both relate to: there’s no “right” way to raise a baby. Her t-shirt designs are inspired by this philosophy and make for some funny sayings. I love the “Ferberizing Stinks!” and the “I heard Einstein was a late talker“. Children are funny. Parenting is funny. We also have a philosophy of embracing the humor.
